I've definitely neglected this for the past couple of weeks! I don't even think I'll be able to catch up on all that's been going on.

First off, last weekend was homecoming. This was the first year that I went to the parade and it was so cute! You see, I probably went to the smallest high school in the state of Wisconsin, and so we never had a homecoming parade or floats or any of that jazz. So it was pretty much a blast to laugh at all my friends dressed as pirates throwing candy at myself everyone else on the sidewalk!

I also am excited to report that the new coffee shop, The Raw Deal...is amazing! Just a few weeks ago it used to be a chocolate shop, but recently divided into two; the chocolate is now located across the street and the coffee is in the same location. Not only did they redecorate, but they also have a juice bar-yes an actual bar with stools where you can drink freshly made organic juice. And they've also expanded their menu to smoothies and coffee drinks. Being the coffee addict that I am, I'm pretty pumped.

It's also been rainy/snowy and cold for the past week 1/2. Yep, I said it...snow! I was pretty excited about that too.

Okay, this post needs to end now. More to come.

A word to the wise for all you prospective college students. Don't procrastinate. It's an evil thing. (I'm sure my mother would agree with that statement too.)

Right now I'm in the process of designing a package that I can ship an egg to Michigan in. It sounds pretty random, but this is what us art majors do; if you're interested in the program, get used to it! It's actually a lot more fun than I'm making it sound right now.

As challenging as these projects can be (although they sounds pretty simple), it's also an opportunity to develop some sweet skills. Like how to build an aesthetically pleasing package that will carry an egg across the state, using very limited materials! But that's where the procrastination comes in, when you leave these sorts of projects until the night before they're due. Whoops!

Back to work...I want to be able to get up for my 7 am staff meeting tomorrow. (I know, you're jealous!)
