A couple more days to finals and I can feel the anticiaption rising. I pretty much just want to squeal with excitement! I've been going to Christmas parties, watching Christmas movies, and walking by Christmas displays is the store windows, drinking Fa La Latte's from Caribou and Snow Flake Mocha's from the Raw Deal. Even though the end of the semester can be stressful it obviously has it's perks too!

OOOh, cute story.... I have a wonderful Construction professor who's probably been my favorite so far this year. He's an older gentleman, grandfatherish, and uber cute. He's a great teacher and very passionate about what he does; which makes the class much more enjoyable. (Let's face it, I'm not usually too intrigued by construction.) So anyway, he gave us this whole talk about how he has really enjoyed us this semester and hopes that we could tell how much he cares about what he does. It made me smile.

Well, I'm sorry if that wasn't very interesting, but if you don't like my blog then you really shouldn't read it silly!

So, just an example of the many clubs we have on campus---swing dance club! AMAZING. Now first, let me tell you...I'm not a dancer. I'm not coordinated, I cannot move with any sort of finesse or grace. I'm sure I look something like an elephant when I try to dance. Swing dancing however, is a blast whether you suck at it or not. I went to the cities last weekend with about 30 other students from Stout to swing dance at a studio called the Tapestry. It was so amazing. I learned some new "moves" and I even did some flips! It was crazy fun. I recommend to any incoming students or current students at Stout, if you're not already involved in a club, find one that you're interested in and get involved. It is SO worth your time. (Even if you suck at whatever it is.) hehe

I'm pretty sure the weather has multiple personalities. 3 days ago it was 50 degrees out and raining. Yesterday and today, windy, cold, less than 20 degrees! BRRR There were even some flurries this morning when I was walking to class.

As for school, we had our Thanksgiving break last week and now we're back to the grueling task of finishing the semester. I think everyone's getting...end of semester-itis. (I pretty much just made that up.) But basically I'm trying to say, everyones about ready for Christmas break . I know I am!

OOOOH, 2 for 1 muffins and cookies at all the expressway carts today (and every Fiday!). According to Martha Stewart, "it's a good thing".
