I'm sure it would have been quite a sight to watch 30 girls tiptoeing around a muddy barnyard and alpaca manuer. hehe

At 8:30 this morning my textiles class took a field trip to an Alpaca farm. It was a great way to get out of the classroom and still be informed and educated about something. Plus, I'm not gonna lie, alpaca's are really cute! (and SOFT.)

I'm sure it would have been quite a sight to watch 30 girls tiptoeing around a muddy barnyard and alpaca manuer. hehe

Hey Jessica, Thanks for the commment! (the first one...woohoo!) So basically we found out more about the alpaca industry, like that one alpaca can cost thousands of dollars! We also learned about the breeding process and how the fibers have become even higher in quality over the past 20 years or so. It was pretty interesting. And of course we got to feel some of the fibers, which are amazingly soft!
I definitely giggled at the sight of all of us girls...including myself! haha
